Job Description & Responsibilities
- Communicates status and issues to the team
- Shares experience and knowledge to support the team
- Performs routine assignments that require basic knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Collaborates effectively with own team.
- Contributes to small projects and works with others on small features primarily focused on coding and testing.
- Develops an understanding of the software development lifecycle and the various agile engineering practices (e.g., requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing), and assists on projects where these methods are applied.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Fundamentals of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, concepts of routing, switching.
- Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages like python.
- Solid fundamentals of object-oriented design and programming.
- Ability to think towards scaling applications to the cloud.
- Strong testing inclination to ensure programs are comprehensive and well tested for all use cases. Hands on exposure to open source, mobile application development will be a big plus.
