Job Description & Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and integration testing. Follow established framework standards, create reusable components, and keep test assets aligned with application changes.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria, identify test scenarios and test data needs, execute manual and automated tests, and document results with clear evidence.
- Log reproducible defects with appropriate severity and supporting details, retest fixes, support root cause discussions, and provide accurate progress and quality status updates.
- Integrate automated tests into established CI/CD pipelines, review execution results, troubleshoot script or environment failures, and support reliable test runs across environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering, including exposure to test automation in an Agile environment.
- No license required. Foundational training in software testing or automation is acceptable.
- Foundational knowledge of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool or framework such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or an equivalent.
